ALFREDO RIVERA
Director of the Academy
What makes Rivera tennis Academy different from other academies and one of the most respected tennis programs in Texas?
The answer is that Rivera tennis is not a comercial business. The level of coaching the students receive, the personalized attention that comes with the smallest possible student-to-instructor ratio, and the nurturing atmosphere all give us the most in-depth, individualized tennis program available.
Many other academies use the names of their owner or sponsors just as a commercial way, in our academy it’s all the way around; our director/ owner Alfredo Rivera a formal ATP player, Davis cup player from Chile in 1984 wants to pass on to his students all his knowledge and experiences as a player . He’s directing, supervision and actively teaching on court in everyday basis.
He has also been fortunate to train, coach, mold some of the best juniors and professionals in the world.
Coaching is an art, and communication with individual psychology is the key.
That is why we believe that a smaller, more intense program with a heavy emphasis on the individual is how to develop successfully tennis players.
